BC Transit

In the spring of 2025, BC Transit completed a new handyDart facility at 2401 Burnside Road in View Royal. Aqua-Tex supported the BC Transit design team with ecological advice to build a new stream channel on site and to protect the valuable habitat in neighbouring Craigflower Creek. We also acted as senior environmental monitors and supported the Communications team with community outreach and education.

The project is the first on Vancouver Island to be certified as "Salmon-Safe":
